Kia ora, I'm Tanya.
The nitty gritty - I'm a medical doctor. I graduated from medicine in 2003, from the University of Otago, New Zealand. I'm a kiwi 🥝 and now a dual citizen of both New Zealand and Australia 🦘 (But, don't ask me about rugby, I have no idea!)
I moved to Australia in 2006 to pursue general practice training and somehow ended up marrying an Aussie, much to my mum's shock!
Since January 2023, I have focussed solely on my true love - mental health. I have advanced training in psychological services and a Master of Counselling (2024), ALL of which can be used effectively in anxiety management including:

There's nothing like trying to raise your own anxious, perfectionist, big-feelings sensitive mini-me of a daughter to make you realise that you need to take care of yourself..
As in, me!
I've worked really hard on letting go of being a perfect parent and prioritising self-care, slowing down (I don't always do that well - I still talk crazy fast!) and being nicer to myself.
And guess what?
It's made me a better Mum and probs nicer to my Hb too. Hurray!
Now, I want to help you do the same.
I can help in parenting with courses but I can also help YOU as a beautiful (maybe) over-thinker in your own right!
